AC is fitted into the rooms and can be used at night. The next morning, the boat cruises for about 30 minutesĬleanliness: the boat was very clean and neat. They again start cruising from 5 to about 6:40 and then dock in a place. They then halt at a place where a small boat ride (costing about 300 per person) takes you into a small village to see the fishing, farming etc. The boat starts to cruise around 1:30pm and cruises till 4pm. The dining area is on the first floor and can view the backwaters while having the meal. The Casino houseboat is big and has seventh rooms. All in all a must have experience while on a holiday with your friends or family. AC is switched on only after 9pm and runs till 8am the next day. The food served on the houseboat is exceptional and very tasty. Also in the evening, you can take an optional detour to a small river village (like Venice) on a rented small boat which costs around Rs 300 per head. They take short rides in afternoon from 1.30 pm to 7pm. The house boat is beautiful, a very different experience from the usual stays at hotels.
